Want to Buy My House!

My house is now up for sale. When Mommy and I got home from visiting Grandma the Great and Mommy's cousin Tena who was visiting from the Florida Keys the for sale sign was being put up. I had fun this morning showing off for a few of Mommy's cousins and lots of my Grandma's. I played on the floor but when it was time for lunch I would not eat it. Mommy thinks my teeth are bothering me. This afternoon Daddy brought in a new toy from outside it was a fire truck that I can ride or push. I am having lots of fun playing with it. It came from my friend Nate. Uncle Chris I am trying to be more like you. If you get to have a fire truck so can I.

Mommy says it is strange having our house up for sale. We now have to keep it really clean and more and more things keep getting packed away. Mommy says not to worry when we moving into our new house all the things will come back. Right now only Mommy and Daddy's things are being up away. I get to keep all of my toys.

Where is the snow going?

Today, I woke up to the sound of rain hitting the windows. As the day has gone on the rain is melting all the snow away. It has been a good week for me. Monday, Mommy had a snow day and then on Tuesday I went with Mommy to school for part of the day. She could not find a baby-sitter for me while Daddy took his exam, so her principal said I could come and hang out at school. Mommy's students were all at a choir concert away from school. When they got back I was on my way home with Daddy. I had fun exploring Mommy's huge classroom. I especially like the big exercise balls and trampoline in back of the room. Wednesday morning Mommy had a 2-hour delay so she got to feed me breakfast before heading into work.

Thursday, we made our way to Grandpa Buck's house because Mommy had to pick him and Grandma Sara up at the airport late that night. I was sleeping when they got home. Friday, morning when I woke up I went right downstairs and started playing with Grandpa and Grandma. I missed them a lot when they were visiting Uncle Chris in Germany. Thanks, Uncle Chris for the cool car it is now my favorite toy. We all really like the video of your apartment and all the pictures.

Saturday, Sunday, Monday

On Saturday, I played with Mommy and Daddy in the morning. Daddy made me look funny in the picture you see. He did that right before I took my morning nap. Then in the afternoon we drove into Grand Rapids to pick up Grandpa Buck's car because Mommy's is not working right.
Daddy drove home and Mommy and I went to see Grandma Ruth, Grandma Mary and Grandma the Great. I had fun showing them all my tricks and talking with them. Later my Great Uncle Bob showed up. I even got to say to Uncle Chris when he called from Germany. We had to take the Grandma picture without Grandma Sara. I was sad but Grandma the Great filled in.

Then Mommy and I were off to church for a big dinner and I got to play in the nursery all night. I had a great time playing all the toys and the different girls who were in there. During the dinner the snow started falling and the temperature outside dropped. In the morning there was no church so Mommy, Daddy and I played and had our own church. They made a big pork roast. Mommy had so much meat left over she made a huge pot of soup. It made the whole house smell yummy. On Monday morning we all woke up to the phone ringing telling Mommy she had her sixth snow day of the year. So were are off and ready to play the day away again.

Tonight while Mommy was getting dinner ready I got the pantry door open and look at the mess I made in just a few minutes while Mommy ran to get the camera.

Playing in the snow on a snow day!

Mommy and Me Sledding!
Mommy and I got our wish; she had another snow day today! We got to spend the whole day together. When Daddy got home from school we all went out for lunch to celebrate Daddy being done with all his classes. He has is final exam on Tuesday and then he is done!! Mommy and I are very proud of him. This morning I got to talk to Grandpa and Grandma in Germany! They arrived safely and are having a lot of fun with Uncle Chris. In the afternoon I got to go outside and play. Mommy and Daddy even let me go sledding. I am pretty tired tonight so I think I will go to bed early. I Like The Snow.

Stacking Blocks and Secrets

Tonight I made my first tower on my own. I stacked a block on top of another one. Mommy and Daddy thought that was pretty cool. They kept wanting me to do it again and again, however, I got bored with that and started throwing the blocks around the room. A little while later it was time for my bath. Mommy helped me get my arms out of my shirt but I pulled my shirt over my head all by myself. I think Mommy was impressed. Tonight I also gave Mommy her first zerbet from me. I got her on the tummy and she laughed so did Daddy. Another new trick is I now give wet secrets.

The weather here has been nasty all day. The roads are icy and snow covered. I watched the snow fall most of the day. I like to stand by the big front window and look out at the snow and the cars. Mommy is wondering if she will have another snow day tomorrow or not. I hope so, because I like it when Mommy is able to stay home and play with me all day.
