Another Snow Day!

(This is me at Grandma's work last week on one of Mommy's Snow Days)

Mommy had another snow day today and I made sure that she knew I liked having her home. In the morning after my nap I stood up behind my Fisher Price walker and started walking. Mommy and Daddy looked on in amazment. I walked through the living room and into the kitchen holding on to my walker. Later, Mommy tried to get me to practice walking when she was holding on to my arms. I don't like that I would much rather crawl or walk with me walker. I am very independant. Grandma Sara say I am just like my Mommy was. On Monday night I while I was at Grandma Sara's house I escaped from everyone's watchful eyes and found the stairs that go up into Uncle Chris' old room. I got so excited I started yelling. I gave a way my new spot. I then decieded that it was time to show everyone how well I could climb stairs. I marched my way up the whole flight. Grandma video and Mommy stayed right behind. I will post that video later. For now here is the video of me walking. Enjoy!

More Time with Mommy

This week I have been able to spend lots of time with my Mommy. She had snow day on Monday and then again on Tuesday. I really like it when Mommy can't go in to work. Then at the end of week she had a half day. She picked my up from daycare because Daddy was at the Worship Symposium at Calvin. I fell asleep in the car and I even stayed asleep when Mommy carried my inside. She got a lot of cleaning and she finished painted in the kitchen during my naps on Friday. At night we went back into to Grand Rapids for a party at Great Aunt Ruth's. I got to see Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara. Ruth had cool toys, I especially like the Duplos. A little girl had built a huge tower and I thought she need my help in knocking it over. It turns out that girls don't like you to knock down their towers. I made her cry, but Grandpa and her Daddy were laughing so I didn't know what to do. Today, Daddy left early for Calvin and I woke up. Mommy wanted to keep sleeping but it was time to play. So Mommy got up and feed me a big bowl of cereal and my bottle. Afterwards we played on the floor. Mommy built towers I knocked them over. Then we rolled the ball to each other. I was tired pretty quick and went down for a nap. When I woke up Mommy and I had to run to Michael's and Target. I like shopping because I can smile and talk to lots of people. I even help pick things out. When we got home it was time for lunch and my afternoon nap. I made a mess of my lunch see the pictures that Mommy posted. After that nap I helped Mommy make cookies for church tomorrow. I am such a big helper. Then Daddy came home I had been asking Mommy all day for Daddy. I say Da Da Da. I even looked for him all over the house. Now it is time for bed.

So Good Night!!!

Hi Malori and Maddax, I had fun talking to you on the phone today. I can't wait to see your silly pictures here are mine.

SNOW DAY !!!

Today, I learned what a snow day is and I like them, a snow day means that Mommy does not have to go to school. She got a call very early in the morning telling her to go back to bed. She was very excited however her excitement was short lived because I wanted to get up and play. I am keeping Mommy and Daddy on their toes during the night. I have been rotating sleeping through the night and then getting up about six times a night. Mommy and Daddy keep waiting for me to just sleep through the night and give up waking up all the time. It is much to cold out to play however, I do like to sit by the window and watch the snow fall. It was a good thing Mommy was home today because I learned how to stack blocks on top of each other. After I stack up a few of them then I can knock them over and I don't have to wait for Mommy or Daddy to stack them up for me. This morning when Daddy ran to the store to get Mommy a roller so she could paint the insides of the kitchen cupboard. I escaped to the bathroom and found the toilet paper roll. Do you know that if you pull on the roll the paper comes down? I have fun pulling the paper. After, my afternoon nap we piled in our cars and drove to Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara's house. Daddy has class tomorrow at seminary. When I got to Grandpa's house to got to play. I really like playing with the glass in front of their fireplace. I can see my face and I like talking to myself. I am in a very silly mood today which Mommy and Daddy like. I also like to play in Mommy's laundry basket.

My new favotite toys

I got some new toys for Christmas that Mommy and Daddy say are taking up more space in the house. First, I got the Fisher Price Little People Airport. I have not figured out how to play airport but, I do enjoy ramming the car, plane, and helicopter together. Mommy told her students that I am all boy. They laughed and agreed with her. I also like my new stuffed animals, I like to hug them some times. Bath time is my favorite time of day because I can play with my new letters and numbers from Grandpa Gil and Grandma Alina. They are just the right size for biting. I have more teeth come in the back. Mommy wants them to come through so that I will start sleeping better. I have been battle a cold along with my teeth so no one in our house has been getting a lot of sleep.

Daddy went back to school for the first time since Christmas Break. That meant that we headed to Grand Rapids to stay with Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara. I had fun playing at their house. I also went to Grandma the Great's house last night to help her look for her keys. I searched the floor while Mommy and Grandma look in all the high places. We didn't find any keys but I had a lot of fun exploring a new environment and playing with Grandma the Great. I think that she liked playing with me.

I am now back home and ready for supper so it is time for me to sign off. Mommy let's eat!!!
HI Uncle Chris, here are my new toys!!!

Happy New Year!!!

I spent New Year's Eve riding in the car home from South Dakota. We went to surprise my Grandpa Gil for Christmas. He was very surprised to see me crawling out of his living room. He didn't know what to say, he just stood there with a very surprised look on his face. The trip there took only 12 hours. I had a lot of fun playing with my cousins Malori and Maddax. The last time I saw them I could not even sit up so I was not much fun to play with. This time Maddax and I beat up Daddy and had crawling races. Malori protected me from things that might hurt me. She is a really good big sister. Uncle Cory and Aunt Anila had fun playing with me as well. I smiled so much they just couldn't believe it. Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and I went to the resell shops in town. It was a fast but very fun trip. I even got to see my Great Aunt Beth and Great Uncle Stan one night. They were surprised by how much I had grown since they last saw me in October.

The trip home was longer we ran into bad fog in Minnesota and lots of snow in Michigan. I was glad to be home and so were Mommy and Daddy, we were all very tired. Mommy is now back to work and I am having fun playing with Daddy. His classes start again on Tuesday. I think I wrote in a previous post that Daddy passed his oral comps so now he has just pass this class have graduation and then he is a pastor. I am very proud of my Daddy.
