Sand Box

Last week Thursday, I got a sand box from a couple in our church. I loves playing in everyone else sand boxes. When I woke up from my nap last week Thursday, Mommy took me outside to see it. I thought it looked kind of neat, however, I was not in the mood to play in it.
I would much rather let Mommy chase me into our neighbor's yard where they have lots of other toys that I like to play with. I don't think Mommy likes playing outside as much any more with me because, I just run to the neighbors and pull all sorts of stuff out of their garage and back yard. And believe, I am very fast, I can be by Mommy's side one second and then I am out of sight.
Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy were both gone for most of the day at Classis Wisconsin, where Daddy was questioned for two hours. When it was all over, he was approved and now he can raise his hands to give the blessing and God's greeting. We are all very happy because there was a lot of tension in the house for the last couple of day.
This week end Grandpa Buck, Grandma Sara, Grandpa Gil and Grandma Alina are all coming to my house. I can't wait until Friday and neither can they!!! Daddy is being installed as the official Pastor of First CRC of Waupun. If you want to come please do the service is at 2:00 in the afternoon.
I think we are going to pick apples today and then make some for applesauce. I like today because Daddy will be home to play all day!!!!

Parker's favorite places to play and hide

Here are a few of the new places that I like to play and hide in to get away from Mommy and Daddy during the day. I climb in.
Pull my leg up,
and then I say Peek-A Boo
Time to get out.
Here is where I like to play while Mommy is cooking. I empty out all the pans and lids first, then I climb right in. When I am done, I put the pans and lids back for Mommy.

Going to the farm

Here is Parker talking on his play phone and our real phone to Grandma Sara.
He picked up one of our earth friendly shopping bags and put his arms through and walked around the house. He looked so cute trying to keep it from falling off.

This morning I got up and learned that we are going to go to the Greenfield's farm. I was so excited, because when ever we go to peoples farms we go home with lots of good food. When we got there the let me ride a little motorized car. I learned how to push the button down and then I was off and running over and bumping into everything in sight. It was so much fun, I did not want to get off. Glen and Sandy let me pick a little pumpkin and they said that later, I could come out and pick a big one.

Glen, put Mommy and Daddy to work pick out good things from the garden like: tomatoes, cabbage, onions, raspberries, and peppers. Mommy is going to have to make more pizza sauces or salsa.

This weekend we are going apple picking and then is will be time to make applesauce. YEAH!!!

Pictures of Parker in the rain!!!

This morning when we all woke up it was raining and from the looks of it outside it had been raining for a while. Mommy made me a promise, if I was good and played while she finished making meals she would take me outside in the rain. I was very good little boy I even tried to help her. So Mommy finished up quickly and we spent over and hour outside in the rain. Here are some pictures.

Playing Outside and Riding My Bike

This morning I woke Mommy and Daddy up with my yelling, "Mommy Outside Now!". That got them going and you know what it worked. Mommy and Daddy got me up feed me breakfast and then Mommy took me outside. Only today, she brought out my fire truck from Nate. I love riding my fire truck in the house and now I got to ride it in the parking lot and all around the church. The cement workers were laying the last of the cement down today.

I rode my truck by them over and over. Later in the morning Mommy took me back to the wet cement and stuck my feet and hands in them. When Mommy went back to check on them the cement workers had been back and they smoothed over my prints, but Mommy had already taken a picture of them. At least we have the picture.

When I woke up from my nap we all went to the Beaver Dam DMV to try and fix the problem with Mommy and Daddy's drivers license. This is the third time we have been there trying to fix the problem. However, this time when we left they had their drivers license in hand and they were happy about it.

18 Months Old - and the word of the day "Strike"

The Family Van Hill!
It is hard to believe that I am 18 months old already. Today, I went with Mommy to lots of stores and I so tired of driving and sitting in the cart that when we got to Wal-Mart, I got mad and started screaming. I was proud of my Mommy she kept her cool and didn't even yell at me. She let me get down for a while and then she had to put me back in the cart and I screamed even more. Then she let me hug her as we went around the store. Even other people tried to make me happy. I did not want to smile or even say "hi" back to them. When we got home we had lunch and then it was nap time. I slept for almost 3 hours, Mommy love the time to get lots of things done around the house.
Last weekend Grandma Sara came over on the boat and stay until Monday. I had a great time playing with her and Mommy and Daddy enjoyed going out twice without me tagging a long. I think they need some time together.

Mommy and Daddy can't believe how fast I am growing up. Each day brings more words that I can say and more things that I can get into. I am a climber, I climb anything and everything I can. While watching Mommy and Daddy play our Wii I learned to say: foul ball, and strike. They are waiting for me to say "home run". They are now being careful about what they say in front of me so I don't repeat any bad words.
Mommy made cupcakes for my half-birthday. We are going to take them to our Thursday play date. Every Thursday we go to our friends house. I play and Mommy gets to talk to other Mommies. We both like it a lot.
