Struggling to find my sleep

This week I have had a lot of trouble finding my sleep. I wake up in the night at the smallest of sounds and scream until Mommy comes running into my room. She has tried numerous methods of calming me and getting me back to sleep. I have also slept in many beds, my crib, my big boy bed, the Uncle Chris' bed (guestroom) Mommy and Daddy's bed, the couch, the rocking chair, and on the floor to name a few. This week has been hard on all of us, with little sleep and not feeling the greatest. My naps last long only if I am being held by Mommy or she is close by. I think if I could just figure out what is bothering me we all could get some much need sleep. If you have any suggesting please feel free to leave us some advice.
For now I leave you with the tug of war going on between my parents and their respective colleges.

Love,
Parker

Play time with Buck and Sara

This past weekend Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara drove up from MI to see us. They arrived on Friday night just in time for pizza and a movie. I got to pick the movie and I picked Cars of course. That night I talked and talked as I went to sleep. When I woke up Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara got up with me and let Mommy and Daddy sleep in. Then Grandma Sara and I made pancakes for everyone! I got to make a "P" with the pancake batter. It tasted so yummy that I need two more pancakes. I love "cakes". After breakfast Daddy had to go to work so Mommy and I showed Grandpa and Grandma around Beaver Dam. Then it was time to head home for a nap. After nap we played one game of Wii and then Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma had to go to church and help out with the movie night. I got to stay home with Grandpa Buck and we had a lot of fun playing throw the balls in the tent and vacuum vs. lawnmower. By the time Grandma came back to give me a my bath I was very hyped up. I talked for over an hour in bed and I had both Grandpa and Grandma laughing at me. We went to church the next morning which is one of my favorite places to go. I get to see my friends and play with all the fun toys! After lunch I had to say good bye to Grandpa and Grandma.
Monday's are the best day of the week for me because Daddy does not have to go to work. We played together all morning, and I slept all afternoon. Mommy and Daddy think I have teeth coming in. I got to talk to Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara on Skype tonight! I love being able to see them so big. Now I can talk to them and Uncle Chris on the "puter". I hope Grandpa and Grandma Van Hill can get Skype along with Aunt Anila and Uncle Cory. After supper tonight I helped Daddy fix Mommy's stool and my chair.

A Day to Remember

Today history was made in our country as we now have an Africa American President for the first time. Mommy and I watched the coverage all day it was very exciting. I played with my blocks and rode my bike around the house. Mommy worked hard at getting things listed up on e-bay. Here are few fun photos of me from today.

Big Boy Bed!

Today, Mommy brought up the mattress to my big boy bed and then she put the sheets I picked out on it and my cool airplane quilt. In the basement is the rest of my bunk bed that she is re-painting. It is what she and Uncle Chris used to sleep on when they were little. I love my new bed, I was squealing as Mommy and Daddy put it together. I can't wait to show it off to Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara when they come up this weekend. I got to jump on the bed after is was all put together.
Last night there was a bat in church while Daddy was preaching. Everyone was very glad that it slept through the service. After the service was done, some guys from the church had to try and take care of it. I had fun watching them throw all sorts of things to try and get the bat down. Mommy ran home and got my tennis balls for them to throw. I was laughing so hard at the guys. I kept yelling "tennis bat ceiling". This morning I said the same thing only it was " guys church tennis bat ceiling funny." Mommy and Daddy are really enjoying how much I talk except for when I tell them to "go go away", this is one of my favorite sayings along with "Parker do it" or "self".

Brrr!

The weather here in WI is cold and snowy. Mommy says that I am not allowed to go outside because it is to cold out. The temps are below zero, I can't wait for them to warm up so I can play on the mountain of snow behind our house. So I have to find other things to climb like Daddy!
Helping Mommy make cookies, I learned that you can dip your fingers in the bowl and get yummies.

Sorry it has taken me so long to post again. We went on vacation, the first one for Daddy since he started working here at the church. We head to Sioux Falls, to celebrate Christmas with Daddy's family. I had a great time playing with my cousins. I got to play at there house again and we did a lot of playing at Grandpa Gil and Grandma Alina's house. I got some great toys from them for Christmas, I get to help Mommy with my new vacuum and I help Daddy in the Spring with my lawnmower and my wheelbarrow. The wheelbarrow is great for dumping things, which if you know me is a favorite game of mine. Mommy and Daddy even got to go out on a date without me. They were very excited about that.

We arrived back to our house in Waupun on Sunday night and I went running into the house and when I saw my toys, I yelled, "my toys, Parker's toys". Mommy and Daddy just laughed at me. Last night while Daddy was his meeting, I got to play with my new bath crayons. I had fun drawing on the side of the tub. We even left them up for Daddy to see.

This morning Mommy and I drove to Beaver Dam to get our hair cuts. I was in desperate need of one so I could see again. I sat in the chair all by myself and I sat so still the lady was very proud of me. I didn't like it when she got close to my next because it tickled. Mommy got her hair cut as well, she is very happy with it.
