Waiting

Mommy, Daddy, and I are waiting for all kinds of different things. Me, I am waiting for next week when I am going back to Michigan for a visit with Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara and other friends. Daddy and Mommy are waiting for me to go potty. I have not had a poopy diaper since last week Friday. Mommy has tried all sorts of things trying to get me to go. Now, she is just waiting for me to drop the big stinky one.

Not much has happened since I last wrote. We went to Daddy's softball game last night. They won again. Yeah!! Mommy has cleaned the house and been doing the laundry. Daddy has been working on his sermons for Sunday.

Me, I have been eating, sleeping, and playing. Mostly eating and playing. Sleep is hard to come by for both Mommy and me. I did have two good nights this week. Today Daddy finished up early and then he came and held me while I slept and then Mommy went up stairs to take a nap.

Just think Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara it is only 4 more sleeps till I am at your house! I am excited to take the ferry.

Giggling and Splashing

Wow, today went fast. I slept really well for Mommy last night. She was very happy with me. This morning Mommy and I woke up to phone calls. The second one was the best because it was Grandpa Buck and he had Uncle Chris on the other line. It has been a month since Mommy and I have heard his voice. We were both very excited. I showed him how talkative I can be. He can't wait to meet me and I can't wait to meet him either. It is just over three weeks till he comes to the USA!!

Tonight we went to the grocery store as a family to get food for Mommy and Daddy to eat tonight and for dinner tomorrow. When we got back there were a lot of people waiting at our door. Mommy and Daddy had the nights mixed up for making dinner for people at church. Mommy quickly make the spaghetti she was planning on making for tomorrows dinner. I was such a good boy. Even though it was time for me to eat, I let Mommy make dinner for everyone else, then when they ate she feed me. Daddy says that Mommy is amazing. She can just roll with whatever happens.

After everyone left and Mommy was cleaning up I was talking with Daddy and I started to giggle at him. He can be so funny. Then it was time for my bath. I showed Daddy how I love to splash and kick in my little bathtub. I am almost too long for my little bathtub. After my bath it was time to get all lotioned up. Then Mommy fed me and I fell asleep. Oh the great life I lead.

Fishing and No bites

Today, Daddy went fishing and he didn't get any bites. He was fishing for Northern Pike with a cane pole. He still had a lot of fun.
Mommy and I hung out at home together. Mommy cleaned the downstairs and made cookies for the ice cream social we had here at the house tonight. Mommy did all of her work while I slept. I didn't take very good naps so Mommy had to work fast.
When I was awake I was talking up a storm. Mommy put me in my bouncy seat and I talked to her while she worked on my ABC book.

Grabbing Things is Cool

Yesterday, I showed Grandpa and Grandma Van Hill all around town. They got to see many of the different prisons and statues in Waupun. I kept falling asleep as we drove.

I also showed them and Mom and Dad how I hold on to the toys that they give me.

At night we went to visit some of our friends. We got to see the zip line that they made that day with their dad. Mommy and Daddy would not let me try it. They said that I was to little. We had dinner with their family and I sat and talked with Grandpa and Grandma Van Hill. I told them a lot of stories. After dinner Daddy and Grandpa played softball with them. Later it was time for birthday cake. They made Daddy a quarter of a cake to celebrate his quarter birthday. It was funny.

Sunday night after church I sat in Daddy's lap and talked to him. Tomorrow he is going fishing. I hope that he has a lot of fun.

Visitors

This morning when I woke up new people were in my house. Mommy said that they came last night after I went to bed. The visitors are Grandpa and Grandma Van Hill! This morning after breakfast I got to play with them. I tried to tell them so much that I got tired very fast. Today I am going to show them all around Waupan.

I have slept better the last two nights. Mommy is so thankful for that. Last night I got really scared but Mommy held me tight and told that it was just some silly kids lighting fireworks off at 3:30 am. I am glad that Mommy was around to make me feel better.

Yesterday morning I got to hang out with some of my new friends. Their names are Neil and Arent. We played and then I watched them ride their bikes in the church parking lot while our Mom's talked about quilting.

More later so stay tuned Grandma Sara! Do you like my new praying pose?

Who Needs Sleep

Once again, I didn't want to sleep during the night. The longest I went was two hours. Finally, Mommy who was so tired she laid me on my tummy in my crib and then I slept for another two hours and so did she. After I got up I ate and then Mommy let me kick and play in my crib while she took a shower. Then it was off to the thrift store. Mommy got me some cool new books and a few books for her. When we got home Daddy was back from getting the car fixed because it was leaking oil. The people fixed it up right away and Daddy said they did a great job.

When Mommy and I got home she gave me a bath. I love bath time. I splash in the water and yell. Today I yelled while I was peeing on Mommy. It was really funny. She made all kinds of funny faces and then started laughing.

This afternoon I took a three hour nap. Mommy laid me on my tummy and I slept. I was all tuckered out. After my nap Mommy fed me and let me play for a while. Then she said it was time for our walk. This time she remembered the camera and she took pictures of two of the prisons. One is at the end of our street. That is where all the prisoners go first. Then a few blocks away is the a Maximum Security prison. Both prisons have houses right next door.

Tonight we went to Daddy's softball game. It got cold out. Mommy wrapped me up tight in my blankets. We cheered for Daddy's team and they won again.

When we got home I talked to both sets of Grandparents. I can't wait to see Grandpa and Grandma Van Hill tomorrow!

The Great Outdoors

Today Mommy took me outside to play. I finally got to see my favorite tree up close. I look at it through the window every day. The wind was really blowing and it felt funny on my face. I talked to it, but it never answered me. It was a pretty low key day around here. Daddy worked and Mommy and I played or slept.

While we were outside Mommy came up with the idea of doing a picture alphabet book all about me. She had fun coming up with different funny sayings for each letter. She wanted to start working on it while I slept today. However, she fell asleep too.

Do you like my new chair? Daddy thinks I look
really old in this picture

Tonight I played with some of my toys and talked to Mom and Dad. They are both pretty tired tonight. I don't let them get a lot of sleep. Maybe tonight I will.

Back to Sleep

Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy tried to get me to sleep in my crib and pack-in-play on my back. They want me to stop sleeping in my swing because I am growing out of it. I don't like sleeping on my back. I wake up as soon as they put me down. My longest nap yesterday was forty-five minutes.

Mommy and I went for a long walk to the Post Office. I fell asleep for the last twenty minutes. Mommy spent the day getting ready to have people come over for dinner. She cleaned and made White Chicken Chili for Friday's dinner. However, She forgot to take the Chicken Pot Pies out of the freezer in time. Dinner was served a little bit later than she wanted. But in the end it all worked out and the people loved it. I again showed off how talkative I can be.

Since I didn't get any good naps during the day I thought I would keep Mommy up for most of the night. She is pretty tired today. I think Mommy is going to nap when I nap today.

I have a new toy that I like to play with. It is a spider. I like his many legs because each leg has some cool toy for me to play with.

I am going to post some pictures from baptism for you to see.

Bye for now.

I ROLLED OVER

The big news in Waupun is that I rolled over. Mommy was putting grease on my back, so I was laying on my tummy. I didn't like being that way so I rolled over. Mommy went crazy running out of room to write it down on some papers. Daddy was in the other room and missed it by a few seconds. Sorry Daddy I will just have to start doing it more often.

I am sleeping better. The last two night I have let Mommy get five straight hours. Mommy says YEAH!!

Today, we drove as a family to Fond du Lac to go shopping. I got to sit in my jogger and talk to Mommy while she pushed me around the store. We got some great deals at the Target. Mommy and Daddy said something about getting me a Christmas present. I didn't quite catch what they said because I was so sleepy. In the next few days look for a picture of me with one of my new toys. Every time Mommy goes to get the camera to take a picture of me by it I fall asleep.

The weather here was strange today. It got very hot and then it started raining. After it rained it was even hotter. We were suppose to go to a picnic tonight. My first picnic, but they moved it inside because of the weather.

Sara, I hope you are having fun at the beach. I miss hanging out with you and I think Mommy misses walking with your Mommy. See on July 5.

Maybe I will write more after the picnic. Wait, I forgot the other important news of the day. Daddy introduced me to a new TV show today. It was kind of silly, they had guys on it called Captain Kirk and Spock.

Hi to all my Grandpas and Grandmas, I miss you all tons.

Grease Lightning

That is the song that Mommy and Daddy sing to me while they are putting my special cream to keep my skin clear. Mommy says that Grandma Sara and Grandpa Buck use to do this to my Uncle Chris all time.

Today Daddy and I hung out in the morning while Mommy went back to get some much needed Beauty Sleep. I fell asleep on Daddy and slept for a long time he is so warm. I just love to sleep in his arms.

This afternoon I took a bath and had so much fun splashing my arms down in the water. I like taking a bath. After my bath I got all greased up.

Mommy and I went on a walk tonight passed two of the prisons in town. Some time she will take pictures and post them on the blog. Mommy says she needs to get back in shape.

Look for more pictures tomorrow Daddy and I celebrate Father's Day.

No Sleep for You

"Sleep What is it Good for, Absolutely Nothing!" That is what I thought last night. I just wanted Mommy to hold me. Every time she put me down I would cry. I got up at 4:00am and Mommy worked so hard to get me to sleep I slept for a few minutes then I wanted to get up again. At 5:00 am she took me downstairs and at 5:30 am she let me play. She then checked e-mail and different websites. (Daddy drove to Fond du Lac last night to get his computer back.) After not sleeping most of the night I did let Mommy get an hour or so of sleep in the morning. After our nap we played for a long time. Mommy read me lots of good stories. Then Daddy was done with work and he read me so stories too. I liked that. Mommy went running for the first time since I was born. She said that was really hot. The sign on the bank said 92 degrees. She ran to the post office and then back home just over a mile. Go Mommy!

Tonight I went to my first softball game. Daddy made some great plays. His still lost their first game in along time. They were without a lot of their team members. After the loss we had to cheer Daddy up so we went to Pizza Ranch for dinner. Daddy sure does love his Pizza Ranch.

Yesterday, Mommy bought me a moses basket to sleep and play in at the thrift store. Grandma do you like me in it.

I'm in Wisconsin

Hey everyone,

Sorry it has taken me so long to blog. (Daddy's computer is in the shop) I arrived here in Wisconsin on Sunday safe and sound. Daddy was so excited to see me. He held me for a long time, while Mommy, Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara unloaded the car. I don't remember much of the trip. I slept most of the way. As Grandma Sara said over and over "Let's make hay while the baby is asleep." Grandpa Buck was very silly on our stop in Michigan City. He let me suck on a pretzel. Mommy got mad at him.

After moving everything in it was time for Daddy to go and preach. I threw a huge fit because I was hungry and wanted to eat right when the service was starting. Mommy fed me and we made it in to hear Daddy preach. I laid on the bench kicking and talking the whole time.

On Monday, I got up and played with Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara while Mommy got to sleep in. Then Grandpa Buck made the grownups bacon and eggs. After a tour of Waupun which I missed because I was sleeping. We went home to play for a while. In the afternoon we went to the Horicon National Wildlife Refuge. Grandpa Buck and Daddy made funny comments while we took the driving tour. Again I slept. Mommy says that I am getting on a schedule.

Tuesday morning I played with Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara until they had to leave for Grand Rapids. I miss playing with them. But before they left they hooked up a cool phone. It has a video camera so I can see them and they can see me. Mommy did lots of laundry on Tuesday and arranged the house the way she wanted it.

Wednesday night we had people come over and I had to put on a show. I kicked and talked so the people could see how smart I am. Mommy and Daddy also got the cable hooked up so they can now watch the news. Mommy turned it on just in time to see that Dale Jr. signed with his new team. She was mad because now she is afraid that she is going to have to cheer for the bad men. (Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson)

We are at the library so I can blog. Hopefully he will get his computer back today.

Busy Morning Grandpa and Grandma's

I am blogging early today because I won't be able to later. This morning after eating I got to sit and talk with Grandpa Buck for a while. Then he went to shave and Grandma Sara and I chatted for a sometime. But I did have to stop talking so that I could e-mail my Uncle Chris. After all that I was sleepy so Grandma laid me down.

Mommy went to the mall and some other stores while I slept on the floor at G and G's house. When Mommy came home was still sleeping although I like to trick her by opening and closing my eyes all time. I am a funny little boy.

Tonight is going to be a big night for me. I am meeting my Great Aunt Linda for the first time. I am also meeting my second cousins Ryan and Skyler. I know that we will get along great together.

Daddy I hope you play great today in your softball tournament. Mommy and I can't wait to see you. Now only one more night time sleep till I can talk to you and give you a great big hug.

Hanging Out With The Terps

I was a good boy today. I slept a lot. This morning I woke up at 7:00 and I wanted to eat and play. After I ate, Mommy laid me under my activity center and I played for half an hour while she ate breakfast and did the dishes. Then I had a big fit I cried and cried. While Mommy walked me all around the house. I finally fell asleep. Then I slept for the next hour and half. Mommy cleaned like a maniac. She was trying to get everything clean before we leave for Wisconsin. I ate again and then I played for a while and then Mommy and I fell asleep together on the couch.

Then we drove into GR and I met some new relatives, my Uncle John , Aunt Bev and Cousin Rachel. I slept for a while in the arms on all different relatives. Then I played on the floor. I kicked and talked with my Grandma, Aunt Ruth. She called me a Bobble Head. Marlin didn't like it when Ruth called me a Bobble Head. So he took me and we had some guy talk.

I had a great night and it is only two more sleeps until I see my Daddy. I can't wait.

I Went to School

Today I went to school with Mommy. She dropped me off at some new friends house today. I played at their house while Mommy went to work. She had to read exams to the 7th graders. When the kids finished their exams Mommy came to get me. I was ready to see her so I gave her a big hug. We got in the car and I fell asleep. I slept for a while then I wanted to eat. Mama feed me then I went to sleep again. I was a tired boy. After my nap I wanted to show all the teachers my pretty blue eyes and all my tricks. I showed them how I kick and talk. It was fun.

Then Mama and I went to Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara's house for a while. I ate while Grandpa slept. He makes funny noises when he sleeps. Now we have to get ready for Graduation. I will talk about that later.

Bye for now. I miss you Daddy!!! :)

New Things

Today I am three months old. I have learned a lot of new things in the last three months. This big news in our house is that I can smile on my own now. I like to smile at things I find funny. Mommy and Daddy are usually doing funny things so I smile at them a lot.

Daddy is now in Wisconsin getting our new house ready for Mommy and me. We miss him but Mommy and I made it though our first day together and we got to church on time. I am now sleeping in Mommy's old crib at Grandpa and Grandma's house.
