Here is all the new and old track put together. Mommy worked for a long time to get it all set up. I also got an awesome crane from Uncle Chris and Mel. I have not stopped playing with it or the train track. The crane and Cranky the lifter from Thomas work great together lifting all the trains up onto the right tracks.

Thanksgiving in Dells

This past weekend we all went to the Dells for a break as a family. We had a blast. I got over my fear of riding down the little water slides by myself. The orange slide was very fast and I liked it and then I caught my foot and got hurt a little. But that did not stop me from riding all the rides that I could. I really like the green slide that I could go down myself. I rode on the tube with either Mommy or Daddy down the big water slides. We all rode around on the lazy river. We did still play on but the yo-yo's as I call them. I really like spraying Mommy and Daddy with the fountains on the ground. One of the hot tube was not super hot. It was about 80 degrees so it was perfect for swimming. I had Mommy put on my water wings and then I swam, and floated on my back or swimming on my back. I would jump from the ledge that you sit on into the deeper part. I got braver and braver and finally I jumped and I went all the way under! I even liked it!

Catching Up

Mommy has taken over the blog for a post.

A few weeks ago as I was reading my e-mail, I found out that my favorite store Cherry Republic was starting a Cherry Cheer campain they give away a gift box everyday until Christmas. They wanted to there readers to nominate people who could use some cheer in their lives or who are unsung heros for the job that they do. I nominated Craig for all the work he does at church and at home for us. This week a package came from Cherry Republic for Craig he won a gift box. We were very excited, it was a nice pick me up after some very busy weeks.

I have started a new venture in my sewing and have started making sock monkeys. They cost $10.00 so let me know if you would like one. They make great gifts.

We have been enjoying a beautiful fall with hardly any rain and lots of warm weather. That has meant many days playing outside in the leaves and riding bikes.

A weekend at a Cabin

Daddy was in desperate need of some time off after a crazy few weeks of regular and having three funerals. A very nice family at church gave us the use their cabin for the weekend and the council gave Daddy the weekend off from preaching. Daddy and I went up to the cabin on Friday morning and Mommy stayed home because she was going to the scrap-a-thon at the school. She got a lot done that night and the next morning. I got sick and wouldn't talk to Daddy or eat anything Friday. I was feeling better on Saturday so Daddy and I went out for a hike and found some deer tracks.

We had a lot of fun up at the Cabin, I learned how to play three new games, Chutes and Ladders, Candyland, and Twister. I liked all of them but I had a lot of fun playing twister because I would push Mommy or Daddy over. We had fires at night with pizza pies and marshmallows. It was a very relaxing weekend and we didn't want to go home.

This past week I turned 3 and a half. We also got a new car and went to baseball game. It was a busy week that was lots of fun. On Monday we drove to Milwaukee and bought a new Kia Sorento. I really like it a lot. Then on Wednesday we went up to Appleton to watch the Timber Rattlers play baseball. I liked the big sand box I got to play in and the cotton candy Daddy bought for me. On Friday I turned 3 1/2 and we celebrated with a big homemade cookie. Then on Saturday Great Aunt Mary and Great Uncle Pete came for a visit. I loved showing them all around our house. Mary brought me Gordon for my train set. I was so exited that I have been playing with him ever since. Tomorrow we leave on vacation, we are going camping. I am so excited about it. Mommy is packing the new car and loving all the extra space she has.

Some more pics from our trip to MI

Trip to MI a few weeks ago

A few weeks ago we drove to MI because Daddy had a meeting in Grand Rapids. We arrived at Grandpa Buck's house at 2:30 am and Parker refused to go back to sleep until we found a blue jay. I looked all over the house and I could not find it. I finally got Parker back to sleep at 5:00 in the morning. We were both very tired the next day. We went to visit Grandma Sara at her new office and we got a tour of the new Grand Rapids Christian Elementary School. It is really cool. Daddy left afternoon. Parker and I stayed for a few extra days to help Grandpa Buck celebrate is 60th birthday. On Friday we went fishing in the 90 degree heat Grandpa helped Parker catch his first fish and in the afternoon we visited the Great Grandmas. That night we had pizza and got to watch Cars. The next day we got ready for Grandpa's birthday party. It was a great time and Grandma got to see her first shooting star. The next day we went to Tunnel Park. We got to jump in the waves and play in the sand it was a fabulous day. When Parker was jumping in the waves he asked Grandma Sara where the red button was. She didn't understand and asked him to say it again. He said the red button that the saver people(life guards) push when a kid gets hurt. Then Grandma understood and explained that lakes are different from pools. He loves jumping in the water and can't wait to do it again. Grandpa drove us back to the Wisconsin border the next day. The trip was very eventful and one that my Dad and I will laugh at for years to come.
