HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I just wanted to wish everyone a vary Happy New Year! Today, was not as fun of a day as I had hoped it to be. Mommy woke up sick and so she tried to play with me but I had to much energy for her. She did her best to play all things I wanted to play. She got out my cars and animals. Then she even let me play jump. That is when I jump from the bottom step to the floor and then tackle Mommy. It is the best game.

We both took good long naps this afternoon. I think Daddy was proud of both of us. After our naps Mommy had a little more energy and then we played some more. Mommy let me play boxing, bowling, and tennis on the Wii.

Tonight, we watched Cars together and then when it was time to go bed I said, "love you Mommy" all on my own. I think she was very happy with me.

See you all next year!

Christmas Fun All Around

This past week has been so busy that I have not had time to write. Last week Saturday, my Aunt Anila got dropped off here and we had a fun three days together. I can't quite get her name right so I call her La La. I had to show her everything I could do and I didn't want to do anything without her. We played and played together.
My cousins and I on Christmas morning all dressed up.

Then on Monday, Grandpa Buck, Grandma Sara, and Uncle Chris arrived from MI. They made it safely through the snow storms. We have gotten a lot of snow here in WI. I was so excited to have six adults to watch my every move and play with me all the time.

Aunt Anila, Mommy, and Grandma worked out while Uncle Chris and I watched. It was fun laughing at them work up a sweat. Mommy and Aunt Anila even did workouts while I was asleep some days. The first night they were all here together I also heard that they played cards as a group. The women won the first round, stay tuned for what happened later.

Tuesday, morning my cousins arrived from visiting their Grandparents. We had a great time playing. After every one's naps we went outside and played on the big snow piles in the parking lot. We went sledding and climbing up to the top over and over. Inside Grandpa Buck taught them how to play the Wii. We had so much fun playing and cheering for each other. My cousin Malori is a great bowler. She does even better than her Mommy. :)

Grandpa Buck, Parker, Uncle Chris, and Maddax

Wednesday, Mommy and Grandma Sara went for a walk and ended up stopping to play on the playground because Mommy had been wanting to go down the snow covered slide. When they got back they bundled all of us kids up and drove us over to the park. We went down the slides and swung on the swings. The snow was over two feet deep so it was very hard to walk. After our we got tired it was time to head for home and some cookies and hot chocolate. All the kids took great naps. That night after we were all in bed the guys team came back and creamed the ladies in Hand and Foot. GO BOYS GO!!!!

CHRISTMAS morning was great, Mommy gave each of us one present and then we all went to church together. It was a very special to have Daddy preaching his first of many Christmas messages. After church, my cousins had to pack up everything and head back home. Mommy made me dinner and then I took a nap. Rumor has it that Grandpa Buck cooked steaks on the grill. After my long nap it was time open presents!!! I tore right in and loved everything I got. My three favorite would have to be, the bowling set from Mommy and Daddy, the tunnel from Grandpa and Grandma, and the Germany fire truck and smart car from Uncle Chris.

Friday morning Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Chris packed up to head back to MI. It was the last time I would see Uncle Chris until he moves home. I hope he moves home soon. I loved playing with him and I think he like my present of a photo book of all the fun things we have done together.

Now you are caught up on live here in WI. Mommy wants me to add that I am still looking for everyone in the rooms that they stayed in.

Getting ready for Christmas

We here in WI have been getting ready for Christmas. Aunt Anila came Saturday morning, I have love saying her name. She is a great player, tomorrow my cousins, Malori, Maddax, and Maclaran are coming to stay for a few days. I am going to have so muck fun sharing all my toys with them and showing them all of my new tricks.
Tonight Uncle Chris, Grandpa Buck, and Grandma Sara are arriving at our house as well. They are braving the bad roads and driving in all the way from MI. They have gotten a lot of snow in the last few days and so have we. The snow and the cold temperatures have not changed. We are suppose to get more snow starting tonight and into tomorrow. The pile of snow behind our house and next to our neighbors house is very high right now and growing bigger. Mommy wants to take me outside to play but the temps are still below zero all day. The wind chill is about -20 below zero. So she says I have to stay inside.

I have a new favorite food. It is tomato soup, Mommy says I take after my Uncle Chris.

Christmas Tree

This morning Mommy, Daddy, and I got into the car in search of a Christmas Tree. We drove to one place and they were closed. So we headed to Beaver Dam, first we went to Menards but they had only one tree left. So it was on to Wal-Mart. We had wanted to cut one down. However, we were in a hurry to get a tree before all of our relatives showed up so a Wal-Mart tree is was. Mommy picked out a great one and then she loaded it onto the roof of the car. My Mommy is very strong. GO MOMMY!!!!

After we got it home, Mommy and I went to the basement to get our tree stand while Daddy cut off the bottom. We put the stand in the living room and let the tree start to warm up. As the tree got warm the branches started to lower. After my nap Mommy and I put the lights on the tree to surprise Daddy. He like all the lights that Mommy and I put on the tree. Tonight we are going to put the rest of ornaments on the tree.
I just wanted to let my Uncle Chris and Grandpa Buck know that I rolled to strikes in a roll on the Wii today. Mommy didn't even help me. I am getting better and better, I wanted to warn you. I also yelled "STRIKE!" when all the pins fell down before the Wii told me it was a strike. I am very smart you know.

Blizzard

Yesterday around noon the snow started falling, and it finally stopped snowing today around 3:00 pm. We received over 14 inches of snow. WOW!!!! That is a lot of snow, the snow plow that plows the church parking lot doesn't have any place left to put the snow. The snow pile is almost up to the roof of our garage. Before lunch Mommy and Uncle Chris took me outside to play in the snow. The wind was blowing and I really didn't like snow blowing in my face.
Mommy took me down the hill again, I am still not sure I like sledding yet.

She also stuck me in a snow bank and made me stand there while she took my picture.

In the morning I woke asking for my Uncle Chris, only when I say his name it comes out Biss. We had french toast together for breakfast and then we played cut the play fruit and throw the balls up to the ceiling. Then Mommy and I played Wii while Uncle Chris took a shower and then when Mommy had to do some house work I played Wii bowling with Uncle Chris.

During my nap today Mommy and Uncle Chris watched Lord of the Rings. Mommy fell asleep and Uncle Chris had chips and cheese. After my nap Mommy and Daddy went to the funeral home and I stayed home with Uncle Chris. I made Uncle Chris pull me around in my little wagon. Tonight I got sleepy early tonight I think that I have gotten a cold because everyone keeps wiping my nose.

Sledding with Uncle Chris!

Uncle Chris has been here for four days and I love playing him. We play touch the ceiling, golf, Wii, and animals. It has been such a fun time getting to know him. I love letting him tickle me with his whiskers. Today Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara returned home to Michigan. Now I have Uncle Chris all to myself. After my nap today we all headed outside to go sledding down the big hill in our back yard. I am not sure what to make of sledding yet. I would smile going down and after it was over, but I didn't want to do it again. Uncle Chris made snowballs and I threw them into my basketball hoop. Now tonight Mommy put in Cars and we are watching it together I really like sitting next to Uncle Chris watching a movie.

Sledding with Daddy! Sledding with Mommy!

My snowball from Uncle Chris!

Uncle Chris made this snow angel and Mommy thought it was really nice.

SECRETS!!!

Today the secret we have all been keeping for months came to end. We have all know that Uncle Chris was really flying into the USA on December 4 not December 15 like we told Mommy. We all really surprised her. The video of it we can't get up loaded right now we will try again later.

SHOWER!

Hanging out with Great Grandma B, I just call her "B".

Nap time with Grandpa Buck, we were both tuckered out.
Snow, Water, Snow, Water, Rain?

This morning, I decided that I wanted to get up early and play with Grandpa Buck. Mommy took me upstairs and then she tried to go back to sleep. She should know better, I won't let her sleep in. Grandpa tried had to keep me out of her room, but I kept running right in. After eating my banana and then asking for oatmeal and then refusing to eat even one bite. I planned my finally attack to get Mommy out of bed. I distracted Grandpa Buck and made a run for Mommy's room. She tried hard not to wake up, telling me to go find Grandpa. But I was to quick for even her. I climbed up in the bed and grabbed her water bottle. It was open so I poured in all down her head and back, soaking her and making her yell out. Grandpa came running and he started to laugh. Mommy asked me to say sorry, but I wouldn't I yelled "shower". Grandpa laughed and laughed at me so I kept yelling "shower", "Mommy shower". Then Mommy got up, and started getting dressed. We went shopping, and visited Great Grandma B. I just call her "B". She loves it, I think I made her day a little brighter. Then it was off to visit Grandma Sara at work. I had lunch with her if you could call it lunch. I am back to my not eating again.

I have had busy nights, seeing all my great aunts and uncles. I am the life of the party and I know it. I show off all my tricks to them. Tonight is the big party for Grandma the Great's birthday downtown. Then in the morning Mommy and I will get up and drive back to WI. It has been fun playing with Grandpa and Grandma, the best part is they are coming to my house this weekend to help celebrate Mommy's 30th birthday!

Let it snow let it snow

Getting ready to head outside, I need my gloves on.
What is this stuff, it is sticking to my gloves.

Footprints in the snow.

Helping Mommy with the shoveling

Last night was a rough night for Mommy and me. I think it was harder on Mommy than me. She woke up to me screaming for her and then I would cough and not be able to take a breath. She made Daddy get up and help her give me some medicine. Then she made a bed for me on the floor in the guest bedroom. The medicine helped a little, but I was still having trouble coughing and breathing. I don't think Mommy got to much sleep. In the morning when I woke up she showed me the snow that had fallen during the night. Daddy had a great idea of going out and playing in the snow after breakfast. Before we went outside, I watched the big snowplow clear the street of snow.

Mommy and Daddy helped to get me bundled in my snow pants, boots, hat, gloves, and coat. Then it was time to head out into the great white world. I was not quite sure what to make of this stuff. I would say snow and then call it water. Mommy said I was right that it was made of water. I wanted the shovel, but sometimes I called it a rake. I was a big help when Mommy and Daddy were shoveling. Now that we are back inside we are waiting for the snowplow to come and clear the parking lot.

Visiting my Cousins

Here I am visiting my cousins in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Mommy and I drove up here on Sunday afternoon. I did great in the car, I played with my toys and when it got dark Mommy and I counted trucks. It is easy to see trucks because they have so many lights on them. The last few days have been spent playing with Malori, Maddax, and Maclearan. We played in the playroom with trucks and these cool animals. I like to make the lion roar! My roar is getting better and better. Maddax and I like to play together, today we made a tent in his room and played and played. After we played tent for a while then it was down to playroom for a dance session. Malori played her music and we all danced until we fell down laughing at each other.

Every night I go back to Grandpa Gil and Grandma Alina's house to eat and sleep. I also play with them too. My nights have not been going very well. I miss my Daddy so much that I am making Mommy take me in bed with her. She is not so happy with me because then she doesn't get much sleep.

I have also seen my Great Uncle Stan and Great Aunt Beth. I showed off all kinds of tricks for them, and Auntie Beth showed us pictures of all her grandkids. There was even a picture on Daddy and his cousin Scott. They had the same funny expression on their faces.

Tomorrow we will head back to WI, and Mommy hopes that I do as well on the trip back as I did on the trip here. We sure miss Daddy and we can't wait to see him.

Going on a Trip

Tomorrow Mommy and I leave on a trip to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to visit Grandpa and Grandma Van Hill. I am also planning on spending a lot of time with my Aunt Anila, Uncle Cory and my cousins. This will be the first time that just Mommy and I go out there. Daddy has to stay behind and work. We are very excited to get going. Mommy spent the day cooking food for her cooking group. She is going to miss the cooking together that takes place on Monday. I don't care, because I will be playing with my cousins!

Yesterday, I had a blast playing with Neil at my house. I got to play with him three days in row. Wednesday he came over with his mommy to help my Mommy with some quilting. Then on Thursday we drove out to his house for play group. Then Friday, Mommy got an early call could she watch Neil while his mommy subbed at school. Sure, my Mommy said. We play very good together. Then at night we all went to the Thrift store to meet with our care group. We had pizza and then I got to run around and look at all the toys and bikes and everything else that people drop off. The big people put together these funny looking tree. They called them Christmas trees. After running around so much I was tired and so Mommy and Daddy took me home to bed. I was so tired I didn't even want to get into my PJ's.

Rain and Cold Weather

Here is my new car, I can't remember if I put a picture of it up before.
Playing with my shovel/rake in the parking lot. I like to push the puddles around.

The weather has been very cold and icky outside. I miss the warm weather from the first part of week. This morning Mommy and I played in the basement. I got to ride my bikes all around it was a lot of fun. I took a really long nap in the afternoon and was ready to play outside when I got up. Mommy dressed me in my snowsuit, hat, mittens, and boots. Out we went into the rain. I love playing with brooms and shovels( I call the shovels rakes).

Mommy tries to correct me but I like saying rake. Last night we had Friday night movie night. We watched Dave and the Giant Pickle. I stayed interested the whole time. A new tradition is born.
I like finding things to play with in Mommy and Daddy's closet. This time I chose from Daddy's side.

More Funny Photos

I was a very silly boy today. I refused to let Mommy put me down. I just wanted lots of cuddles, I did manage to give her a few funny photo shots as well. Here I am talking after both parents and reading while I go potty or just sitting on my potty.

I have been trying to get Mommy's flip flops to fit all summer and fall and I finally

was able to walk in them. Go me go me!

Fun photos and running video

Not much news to report here in the Van Hill household. I have been sick for the past few days with a fever so I have not let Mommy sleep very much. Today, I said knock and yesterday it was soup and pillow. I went with Mommy to vote and the ladies there said I was very cute. Then it was off the library for some new books. Today we were back at the library for story hour. I did a little bit better this week. We have been spending a lot time outside these past few days trying to enjoy the warm weather we are having. Mommy and I have been in t-shirts all week.

I know our camera doesn't take very good videos anymore, but Mommy still wanted to post this one. So here it is.
