Meijer Garden's

Today, we went to Meijer Garden's with Aunt Emily, Sara, and David. We had so much fun running around in the tropical garden. We saw waterfalls, birds, and lots of different plants. I want to scare all the birds away. Then we went to a different room and they had tulips, Mommy's favorite flower. I touched a cactus and it hurt a little. Then we went downstairs and saw the turtles and little fish. After that we ran around upstairs and had snack. Then we did it all again. After, all of that we went to Breton Village mall and played with the train set at Pooh's Cornor and then we watched the big fish in the pond there. I loved seeing my buddies again.

Ginger Bread House

This week Monday, Daddy came home with a ginger bread house for us to decorate as a family. It was a lot of fun. Mommy got the frosting ready and I helped Daddy hold the sides up so Mommy could frost them. After the house was together Mommy put frosting all over and I got to put the candy on the house. I even got to eat some of the candy as I put it on the house.

I did a lot of playing outside this week is was a little warmer and Daddy was able to take me out after work and we played on the hill and in the snow between our house and church.

Last weekend we all went cross country skiing. Mommy pulled my sled with me in it. I love skiing. We went with two other pastor families. We got to play and explore a nature center and climb a very tall observation tower. We are waiting for more snow so that Mommy and I can go out ski again.

We are getting ready for lots of travel in the next two weeks. We are driving to MI so Daddy can go to the Calvin Worship Symposium. Then the following week we are driving to Sioux Falls, SD to visit Daddy's family. I am so excited that I get to see so much family in the next few weeks.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!
The big wet kiss that Mommy gave me last night before bed.

Today, I got out my Little People Garbage truck and said that it was Grandpa Gil's garbage truck and I was picking up dirty stinky diapers and taking them to the dump. Then I made Mommy get the dump truck and pretend that she was Uncle Stan picking up more trash. We played that game all morning.

Tomorrow, Daddy gets all four of his wisdom teeth taken out. I am not sure what the next few days are going to be like in our house. I think Daddy will be in some pain and not want to play with me. I will try to keep you updated on how he is doing.
