Let it snow let it snow

Getting ready to head outside, I need my gloves on.
What is this stuff, it is sticking to my gloves.

Footprints in the snow.

Helping Mommy with the shoveling

Last night was a rough night for Mommy and me. I think it was harder on Mommy than me. She woke up to me screaming for her and then I would cough and not be able to take a breath. She made Daddy get up and help her give me some medicine. Then she made a bed for me on the floor in the guest bedroom. The medicine helped a little, but I was still having trouble coughing and breathing. I don't think Mommy got to much sleep. In the morning when I woke up she showed me the snow that had fallen during the night. Daddy had a great idea of going out and playing in the snow after breakfast. Before we went outside, I watched the big snowplow clear the street of snow.

Mommy and Daddy helped to get me bundled in my snow pants, boots, hat, gloves, and coat. Then it was time to head out into the great white world. I was not quite sure what to make of this stuff. I would say snow and then call it water. Mommy said I was right that it was made of water. I wanted the shovel, but sometimes I called it a rake. I was a big help when Mommy and Daddy were shoveling. Now that we are back inside we are waiting for the snowplow to come and clear the parking lot.

Visiting my Cousins

Here I am visiting my cousins in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Mommy and I drove up here on Sunday afternoon. I did great in the car, I played with my toys and when it got dark Mommy and I counted trucks. It is easy to see trucks because they have so many lights on them. The last few days have been spent playing with Malori, Maddax, and Maclearan. We played in the playroom with trucks and these cool animals. I like to make the lion roar! My roar is getting better and better. Maddax and I like to play together, today we made a tent in his room and played and played. After we played tent for a while then it was down to playroom for a dance session. Malori played her music and we all danced until we fell down laughing at each other.

Every night I go back to Grandpa Gil and Grandma Alina's house to eat and sleep. I also play with them too. My nights have not been going very well. I miss my Daddy so much that I am making Mommy take me in bed with her. She is not so happy with me because then she doesn't get much sleep.

I have also seen my Great Uncle Stan and Great Aunt Beth. I showed off all kinds of tricks for them, and Auntie Beth showed us pictures of all her grandkids. There was even a picture on Daddy and his cousin Scott. They had the same funny expression on their faces.

Tomorrow we will head back to WI, and Mommy hopes that I do as well on the trip back as I did on the trip here. We sure miss Daddy and we can't wait to see him.

Going on a Trip

Tomorrow Mommy and I leave on a trip to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to visit Grandpa and Grandma Van Hill. I am also planning on spending a lot of time with my Aunt Anila, Uncle Cory and my cousins. This will be the first time that just Mommy and I go out there. Daddy has to stay behind and work. We are very excited to get going. Mommy spent the day cooking food for her cooking group. She is going to miss the cooking together that takes place on Monday. I don't care, because I will be playing with my cousins!

Yesterday, I had a blast playing with Neil at my house. I got to play with him three days in row. Wednesday he came over with his mommy to help my Mommy with some quilting. Then on Thursday we drove out to his house for play group. Then Friday, Mommy got an early call could she watch Neil while his mommy subbed at school. Sure, my Mommy said. We play very good together. Then at night we all went to the Thrift store to meet with our care group. We had pizza and then I got to run around and look at all the toys and bikes and everything else that people drop off. The big people put together these funny looking tree. They called them Christmas trees. After running around so much I was tired and so Mommy and Daddy took me home to bed. I was so tired I didn't even want to get into my PJ's.

Rain and Cold Weather

Here is my new car, I can't remember if I put a picture of it up before.
Playing with my shovel/rake in the parking lot. I like to push the puddles around.

The weather has been very cold and icky outside. I miss the warm weather from the first part of week. This morning Mommy and I played in the basement. I got to ride my bikes all around it was a lot of fun. I took a really long nap in the afternoon and was ready to play outside when I got up. Mommy dressed me in my snowsuit, hat, mittens, and boots. Out we went into the rain. I love playing with brooms and shovels( I call the shovels rakes).

Mommy tries to correct me but I like saying rake. Last night we had Friday night movie night. We watched Dave and the Giant Pickle. I stayed interested the whole time. A new tradition is born.
I like finding things to play with in Mommy and Daddy's closet. This time I chose from Daddy's side.

More Funny Photos

I was a very silly boy today. I refused to let Mommy put me down. I just wanted lots of cuddles, I did manage to give her a few funny photo shots as well. Here I am talking after both parents and reading while I go potty or just sitting on my potty.

I have been trying to get Mommy's flip flops to fit all summer and fall and I finally

was able to walk in them. Go me go me!

Fun photos and running video

Not much news to report here in the Van Hill household. I have been sick for the past few days with a fever so I have not let Mommy sleep very much. Today, I said knock and yesterday it was soup and pillow. I went with Mommy to vote and the ladies there said I was very cute. Then it was off the library for some new books. Today we were back at the library for story hour. I did a little bit better this week. We have been spending a lot time outside these past few days trying to enjoy the warm weather we are having. Mommy and I have been in t-shirts all week.

I know our camera doesn't take very good videos anymore, but Mommy still wanted to post this one. So here it is.
