The WI Dells

This past weekend we went to the WI Dells for a mini family vacation. We stayed at a great hotel with really cool water slides, lazy river, yo-yo's that dropped lots of water on you and much more. We left on Thanksgiving Day afternoon and drove the hour to the Dells. I wanted to go as soon as I woke up that morning, but Mommy and Daddy said no. They made a big Thanksgiving meal for the two of them. I was suppose to eat with them, but I got hungry and cranky so I was put to bed and they had their Thanksgiving meal by candle light for the second year in a row. When I woke up from my nap the car was pack and ready to go.
After we got checked in we headed right down to the water park. It was so much fun. We went right to the water slide and Mommy went down first. As she was going down she noticed that it was pitch dark and you did a lot of twisting on the tube. She was not sure how I would like it. She couldn't tell us because by the time she was down we were in the tunnel going down. Mommy and Daddy were quick to check my reaction to the slide. I just smiled and said "Again!" We went down many more times and spent time circling on the lazy river. I played in the kid part but I didn't want to get to wet. Then we headed back upstairs for supper in our room. After supper I wanted to go right back down to the water park. We played there for a long time and I found this cool place where water bubbled up and you could spray people by changing your foot on the water and there were these funny yo-yo things I called them that dumped water on you. I never wanted to go under them but I made Mommy and Daddy stand under them and get wet.

The next morning Daddy got up early and went out shopping and then we all went shopping later we got a lot of great deals after the last store while we were heading out for lunch I asked Mommy and Daddy "So how did we do today?" The just started laughing at me and then they finally answered that we had done great. When we got back it was time to swim again. Then we all took naps. After nap we played at the water park again. It was so much fun. I just wanted to stay in the water even when I got so cold my lips turned blue. It was a great time. I loved spending so much time with both Daddy and Mommy.

Grandpa Buck is going to the Final Four!

Playing with Grandma the Great at Ruth's place.

Great Grandma B and I playin on the floor together.

This past weekend Mommy and I went to Michigan to see Grandma Sara and Grandpa Buck. We left Friday morning and I talked Mommy's ears off the whole way to Michigan. I only slept for 45 minutes the whole trip. When we arrived at Grandma and Grandpa house no one was there. Grandma was still at work and Grandpa was in Pittsburgh with the Calvin Men's Soccer Team. I found all of my toys in the different places that Grandma had packed them away in. On Friday night, after Grandma came home we played and played. I found some old toys that belong to my Great Grandpa Buchholz. I loved playing with the airplane and helicopter, they both made loud noises. After I went to bed Mommy and Grandma watched the Calvin on the computer with no sound. Grandpa's team won and they we both really happy. I didn't sleep much that night I kept waking up and wanting Mommy to be by me.

On Saturday morning Grandma and I got up and played to let Mommy sleep in. We hung out until it was time to go and visit Great Grandma B. She wasn't in her room when we got there but she was coming down the hall. I was so excited to see her that I ran down the hallway and gave her a great big hug. We played in her room for a while.

After visiting with Great Grandma B we head up it Ruth's place to see Grandma the Great. I went swimming with Grandma Sara, Mommy, Baby Belle, Chuck, and Krista. We had a lot of fun playing in the water. After swimming for a while I went back to Ruth's and she gave me an ice cream cone. I also love playing with her toys. We took Grandma the Great home and I fell sleep in the car because I didn't get a nap. Mommy woke me up because she didn't want me sleeping at 5:00 at night. I was a little crabby that night so I went to bed early. Mommy and Grandma watched Calvin play again and that game was more intense because it went to penalty kicks. Grandpa's team WON!!!! They are going to the Final Four.

Around lunch time on Sunday Great Grandma Be came for lunch. She and I played I had to wait until after 4:00 to see Grandpa Buck. We drove to Calvin to see Grandpa Buck arrive on the big bus. The bus arrived honking it's horn so loud. It drove around campus and then to where we were waving and clapping like crazy people. I was a little shy when Grandpa first got off the bus. On the way home I made Mommy roll down the window so that I could yell to Grandpa, "Grandpa, when we get home you will take out the trash and the uncyling(recycling) and I will watch from the window." When we got home, I would not let Grandpa sit down, I wanted to play and play.

Monday, Grandma had to go back to work and I got to stay home with just Grandpa Buck. Mommy got to go out shopping all by herself. I wore Grandpa out by noon. We played so many games the best one is hide-and-seek.

Tuesday morning, Mommy and I got up and packed the car with Grandpa's help. We drove to Holland to visit with Aunt Emily, Sara, and David. We had some much fun together. Then it was time to drive back to WI. Before we left Holland, Mommy drove past our old house she didn't tell me it was our house but I knew. I started crying when Mommy drove away because I wanted stay at the house I was born in. That made Mommy cry too.

When we got home I played with Daddy all night. I missed him a lot.

Friends over to play and the blue boy

Today, I had friends come over and play for the whole day. We played lots of different things like; trains, cars, little people, Legos, tent, and many more. We also made a craft in the morning and in the afternoon. While we were doing the afternoon craft Mommy slipped away for a few minutes to clean up a little. Then I came running to show her what I had just colored. Mommy was a little surprised when she saw my face, because IT WAS BLUE!

Mommy told Daddy to get a wash cloth but I went and got one and started to clean my face all by myself. I had a blast playing with my friends today!

A trip to the Fire Station

This morning we walked down to the Fire Station as a family. We got to see lots of big fire trucks. The Fire Department was collection food for the local food pantry here. We brought a big heavy bag of food down to them. I got a cool red Fire Chief hat and a bag with a fire safety coloring book inside and some candy. Mommy took lot of pictures to send to Uncle Chris.
I got to sit inside one of the fire trucks and pretend that I was driving it.

Here are Mommy and I standing by the biggest fire truck in our town.
Mommy is telling me all about the different gauges on the side of the big hook and ladder truck.

Bumble Bee Boy goes to a party

This was my favorite thing to do last night. I made Daddy and Mommy go through after me.

Playing golf at the party.

Decorating my pumpkin, or "pumpmun" as I call it.
The clothes pin drop. I was able to get a couple of them to fall in the vase.

Last night we went to an alternative to Trick or Treating Party at another church in the area. I wore my Bumble Bee Boy cape and I took my bumble bee with me to sting people with. We all had a great time. I loved playing all the different games. I especially like the maze made out of big cardboard boxes. I raced so fast through so maze that the people didn't even have a chance to give me my candy.
