Happy Earth Day Everyone!

Today is Earth Day and I have been learning a lot about the earth from Mommy and Sid the Science Kid. Yesterday on Sid, he explored leaves so as soon as the show was over I had Mommy take me outside. I ask for the magnifying glass so that I could investigate the leaves and other things outside. I kept bring Mommy leaves and telling her about them. Some were bumpy, smooth, and some had ridges. After I had pick a bunch of different leaves from Grandma Sara's garden, Mommy asked if I wanted to glue them on to paper. She then told about the different leaves and what kinds of plants they came from. I even pulled up some little trees that Grandma didn't want growing in her flower garden. Mommy found the glue and then I put glue all over the paper then stuck the leaves down. It was a lot of fun. I made three pictures all together.

Today, Mommy and I watched Isabelle so that her Mommy and Daddy could move into their new house. We had fun playing trains and we even played outside for a while. She watched me dig in the dirt with my little loader and dump truck.

After supper Mommy, Grandma Sara, and I went for a walk on the trail to celebrate Earth Day. At the end of our walk we stopped at Wood's which is a yummy ice cream shop. I got to have an ice cream cone!

Ice Cream!

Ice cream cone for me and a shamrock shake for Daddy.
Mommy's boys from the back. A fun picture that Mommy really likes.

We went out to Mc Donald's for the first ice cream cone of the season last night. Mommy and Daddy surprised me after dinner saying we were going to get ice cream. On Tuesday, Mommy came home from the Thrift Store with a tee for me to play baseball with. We have played a lot of baseball the last few days. Daddy took me out for lunch just the two of us. I got to pick so we went to Pizza Ranch, and I got to play the games. Mommy had cooking group in the morning and then the ladies go out for lunch. I told Bonnie, that Daddy was taking me out because he loves me so much!

Today while sitting outside I told Mommy, that the ice cream I was eating was just like chicken. She got a funny look on her face, so I explained that both the ice cream and chicken are white so the are the same.

Easter Egg Hunts

Checking to see what was in the eggs.
Having cookies and punch after the Easter Egg hunt.

Giving the Easter Bunny a big hug.

Eggs in the bushes

This past weekend Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara came up to help us celebrate Easter! I got to do two Easter Egg hunts. Grandpa hid the eggs for our hunt Friday night. Mommy had filled the eggs that afternoon. The next day we went to a retirement home in town and I got to go find eggs with lots of other kids. I came home with lots of candy, but I kept asking Mommy where the money was because Mommy had put money in my eggs.
