Baseball Playoffs Cont.

A trip the Fire Station with the Pre School class. Parker learned a lot about fire safety.
Daddy and Parker are super happy that the Cardinals beat the Brewers and are now in the World Series! They have been wearing their shirts all the time! They can't wait for the first game of the World Series tonight.
The past few weeks it was really warm here so we celebrated by going on a family picnic. We went to the Water Fall Park and the water was hardly moving. I went way down by the water and threw some pine cones into the water.

The Tigers did great and we cheered hard for them. Mommy was so happy when they were winning! We danced and celebrated great hits and awesome wins. Mommy was very sad when they lost the last game to the Rangers.

Baseball Playoffs!

The Cardinal fans!
The Tiger fans!

We are big baseball fans! Mommy is a huge Detroit Tigers fan, her favorite player is Justin Verlander. I think the Tigers are okay and I can cheer for them.
My favorite team is the St. Louis Cardinals just like my Daddy! We love watching the games on tv together. We also have to wear our shirts in order to cheer on our teams!
So here we are all decked out and ready to cheer our teams on!

Apple Picking and a visit from Grandpa and Grandma

A few weeks ago we went apple picking at some friends from church. We went out early in the morning. Daddy climbed one of the trees and was dropping the apples. A few landed on my head and back. Daddy even dropped some on Mommy. Mommy and I spent most of the time picking apples up from the ground and catching them from Daddy and Ms. Karen. Mommy and I spent the next few days making applesauce. Mommy and I made over 40 quarts of applesauce. This was after Daddy fixed her apple peeler.
Grandpa Gil and Grandma Alina came and visited us last weekend. I had so much fun playing with them. We played pirates and Grandpa even put on an earring. Mommy and Daddy put them work digging out carrots and picking, tomatoes, peppers and beans. Then they helped her clean everything and make a huge batch of pizza/spaghetti sauce. It turned out really yummy! Grandpa and Grandma played cars and trains with me for a long time. I love it when they come and visit.

SCHOOL

This past Friday, I started school. I could not wait for my first day of preschool. The whole day before Mommy played with me and I was so full of energy that I really tired her out. At supper I was still going strong and she made Daddy take over. Mommy also asked me why I was so full of energy my answer was "I'm going to school tomorrow!"
Mommy and Daddy brought me to school in the afternoon and took pictures of me hanging up my backpack and with my teacher. I ran off to play and forgot to say goodbye to them.
When the day was done my teacher brought us down to where the parents were waiting and I ran straight into Mommy's arms and told her that "It was amazing." Then she asked what I did I told her "Nothing."
I was pretty tired after school but Mommy and Daddy surprised me with at trip to Pizza Ranch for supper to celebrate my first day of school. I got to turn in my points and I got a basketball, a duck and a piece of candy. Then Mommy took out two ice cream tickets she had been saving for a special occasion. I told Mommy and Daddy that this was the best day I ever had.
I can't wait to go back to school on Monday.

Easter!

Our switch hitter!

This past weekend Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara came up to help us celebrate Easter. I woke up early Friday morning and went to get Mommy. I told her, "I can't sleep any more. I am to excited for Grandpa and Grandma to come." Mommy said Parker it will be a long time yet until they get here. We went shopping and got the house clean. Then they chowed up about 3:00. I could not wait to get outside and show off my awesome new soccer moves. I played soccer with Mommy and Grandma while Grandpa ran to the store. Then I showed hm my moves. After that it was time for playing Cars. We played cars until it was time to make supper. I helped Grandma and Grandpa make the pizza. I love eating the ham and pepperoni. We got to eat supper in the living room and watch Mater Tales! They thought the movie was really funny.
I got up really early the next morning and crawled in bed with them. We talked and giggled for a long time. Then we got up and started playing. Later in the morning we had to go outside and play soccer again. This time it was Mommy vs Grandpa, Grandma and me. We beat Mommy. I learned the give and go that morning. Mommy got a very nice ankle bruise from trying to beat Grandpa. After a while Daddy got home from the Auction and then it was time for the Easter Egg Hunt. Grandpa and Daddy hid all 43 eggs. Then Grandma and I went out to find them all. We had a great time and I got the most eggs.
We also watched a movie of when Mommy and Uncle Chris were little and took a trip with Grandpa and Grandma to San Fransisco. It was really funny to watch and it brought back a lot of memories for Grandpa and Grandma.
We all went to Church on Easter morning to celebrate Jesus coming out of the tomb and not being dead any more.
I wanted to hid the eggs again so we did. I love hiding eggs and finding them. I did not want Grandpa and Grandma to go home.

Mommy's new bike!

Mommy got a new bike yesterday! She had been wanting one for a long time. Her bike was stolen when we lived in MI. She got a new helmet. I got a new Lighting Mc Queen helmet and it came with a bell. When we got home we had to put it on my bike and then we all headed out for a bike ride.

March!

Wow, I can't believe that I almost missed blogging in March, especially when Parker turned four at the beginning of the month. We celebrated Parker's birthday with a Pirate party. He invited four of his friends over for a little party. We put up streamers and set up a world map on the wall and I made a treasure hunt for the kids. Parker and Daddy had gone to the library earlier in the week for pirate books that we then set around the room as decorations. The kids were dropped off at 3:30 and the fun started. We played pin the ship on the ocean that was a huge hit. Then we rolled out cookie dough and made letter cookies that after I baked and let them cool we decorated. Then at 5:30 the parents came back for supper with us and a taste of the Pirate Ship cake I made. It did not turn out the way I had hoped but I will have a second chance as Parker has decided that he will have another Pirate themed birthday next year.
Parker is still really into playing Lighting Mc Queen and that was what he wanted for his birthday. We got him three cars and he got other cars and trailers from his grandparents. A few weeks later we were at Target and he found The King's trailer. This was the one he really wanted and I had looked at over twenty stores and online. I was not willing to pay the crazy price they asked online so Parker didn't get it for his birthday. However, when he found it he was so proud of himself. He kept telling me that I should have just had him look at the stores and he would have found it. He got the trailer and Parker had to pay for most of it out of his money bank.
Both sets of grandparents made a trip here to help us celebrate both Parker and Craig's birthdays. There was lots of playing Cars and trains, and soccer. Grandpa Gil and Grandma Alina were even able to see Parker at his swimming lesson.
I had one wisdom tooth taken out and I am glad that it is done and I hope the other three stay deep and never bother me.
Craig has been very busy with church and most nights find him in a meeting of some sort or another. We are all looking forward to a vacation in May.

Snow Pics

Laying in the snow and feeling the cold snow.
Parker and Grandpa Buck snowmen. He wanted to make the whole family, all his grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. We stopped at just two. The next day they melted down to almost nothing.

The snow piles in the background melted down a little more and then we got a lot more snow. The piles are just huge now. I really hope the temps start going up so that it will melt away. I am very tired of the snow piles now.
