Daddy Time

This past Saturday, I slept in until 10:00 in the morning. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of me. The just wished that they could have slept that long. After taking his shower Daddy took me to the park. I got to go away with just Daddy, at first I wanted Mommy to come to but she said "no". I talked with Daddy the whole way there. We walked past the Christian Home and I told him that was where Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara lived. He said no, but made me tell them that on the phone. They weren't to happy about me thinking that they lived in the old folks home. Daddy and I played on all the playground equipment at the park. It was so much fun just to be with Daddy. Then in afternoon after my nap Daddy and I went outside to play baseball together while Mommy made supper. She came out and took a few pictures of us. I am getting better and better at hitting the ball. I start out with the beach ball and work my way down to a baseball.

Today, I got to spend time with Daddy in the morning while Mommy slept in. She has been having really bad headaches for the past few days and she needed the sleep. Daddy and I love to watch videos on his computer and Mommy finally grabbed the camera and got a picture of us doing just that.

Bumblebee Boy

I have a new favorite book it is Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy by David Soman and Jacky Davis. Mommy and I play Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy every day. Today, when I woke up from my nap Mommy had made me my very own Bumblebee Boy cape. I think that I am going to have fun playing with my cape on.

Applesauce Making as a family

On Tuesday morning Mommy and I went out and visited some friends and we picked apples at their farm. I picked up the apples from the ground and put them in the back of the gator. Mommy picked apples from the tree and but them into boxes. After all finished picking apples we took the bad apples and Mrs. Venhuizen drove the gator in by the cows. Then she dumped them out for them to eat. It was fun being that close to the cows.
Then on Wednesday afternoon, Mommy and Daddy set up everything we needed to make applesauce. I got to help for a few minutes before Mommy took me upstairs for my nap. While I napped Mommy and Daddy made applesauce together. They made 14 quarts and 18 pints of applesauce. I can't wait to go and pick apples again!

This morning, I asked Mommy to set up my train track. She used all the pieces and made a huge track. Then she put all of my Little People around the outside like a little town. We played with it all morning. I also helped Mommy make pumpkin bread for the first time. It was a lot of fun and it tastes really yummy, just ask Daddy.

2 and a half!

Yesterday and today, I got my squirt gun out and have been having lots of fun squirting everyone around.
I am now 2 and a half, I turned 2 and a half on September 3. In the morning Mommy, Daddy, and I walked to the Thrift store in town and I found an old Fisher Price house. Grandpa Gil and Grandma Alina came up on Thursday to see us. Grandpa Gil fixed my dump truck for me. I have waited a long time for it to get fixed because Grandpa was the only one I wanted to fix it.

I have been playing a lot of Little People these last two weeks. I love the Little People movies and after I watch them I have to play Little People. Mommy and I have been trying to find more Little People movies and sets at garage sales and thrift stores. If anyone has sets they want to get rid of give my Mommy a call.
Here is my cookie cake with sprinkle frosting and M&Ms along with 2 and half candles.
