Parker rides in the leaves!

Here I am riding my bike in the leaves.

New video and when I am naughty

This is what happens when Mommy leaves Daddy in charge and goes upstairs to pack away the laundry. She comes down as asks Daddy "Where is Parker" He say "in the kitchen I think." Then Mommy yells at Daddy to come take a look at what "his son is doing". Just what a boy is suppose to be doing climbing up on things and taking things apart.

Today, Mommy and I walked to the library for story hour. I didn't want to sit much but it was fun seeing new kids and watching the older ones do the motions to the songs. Yesterday, we had a house full of kids. I was one of seven kids playing. We had a blast making the front porch a mess. Mommy didn't even say anything about the mess. She let us do what we wanted and then after everyone was gone she cleaned up. Not much else happening around here this week. Oh, you can check out Grandpa Buck's team play soccer on Saturday. It is the big Calvin vs Hope at Hope, go if you can, I wish I could go. GO CALVIN GO!!!!!

Learning to Share

Here I am watching Cars, with Mommy.

Making a mess on the kitchen floor with all of Mommy's pots and pans.

This past week we had kids come to our house to play. Tuesday, they came for supper and that was the first time, that I really had to share my toys with others. It was hard, every toy they wanted to play with I wanted at that moment. Mommy and Daddy had to take me aside a few times and explain that I need to share. By the end of the night, I was sharing some of my toys, but it was not easy. Then on Saturday morning the Drew and Petra, came back to play for the morning. Mommy got up her old doll, stroller, and little cradle for Petra. It was hard to share because I never even knew about these toys and I wanted to try them out first. After a little while I was sharing like a pro. Mommy and Daddy hope that I continue to share.

I have a few new favorite words: open, oops, wind, and toot. So if you pass gas in our house and I hear you I will come up to you and say toot, toot. Mommy thinks that is very funny. I'm not sure how funny it will be when I say it to a stranger sometime in the future.

Last night, Mommy and Daddy and I all watched Cars. It was my first movie, and I really like it. I sat on Mommy's lap for a long time. I think that Daddy got jealous of Mommy. Then I went to bed and fell asleep right away. But that didn't mean I would stay asleep, about 3 AM I woke up and pretty much kept Mommy wake the rest of the night. I would cry and refuse to sleep in my own bed. Finally, about 5 AM Mommy went and got my crib mattress and put that on the floor of the spare bedroom and put me on that so she could have some room in the big bed. She is very tired today and not in good mood. She keeps telling me it is my fault, but I don't care. Then to make her even more tired I only took and hour nap. That meant she only got 45 minutes if that. Ha Ha Ha. I still thinks she loves me even if she is tired.

Leaves and Lounging

This is how I like to eat my snack, and when I say snack I scrunch up my nose and it comes out very nasally.
Here I am with my feet up relaxing and eating snack in the living room.
I have enjoying watching the leaves fall from inside the house because I have had a cold. Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy took me outside to play in the leaves and do a little photo shoot. I think Mommy wants me to be a model or something thing. (Mommy here no not a model, I just didn't want to pay big bucks for new pictures.)
I have been enjoying playing more on my own lately. I have noticed that Mommy will sit with me and show me new things and then walk away and watch through the window to see if I am playing like she showed me. My favorite is to play with my Fisher Price Garage and Airport. I give different people rides in the plane and I send the cars down the ramp so the hit each other. I still like being outside the best, but I have not been let out because my cold is lasting so long.

I like my pumpkin and I can't wait to carve it up with Mommy and Daddy. We have lots of little ones that I like to throw down the front steps.

I am saying lots of new words every day like: bra, Alina, Gil, Anila, Cory, Malori, Maddax, tent, in, on, off, eat, and others.

The Moon and other words I now know

I have been learning new words at an amazing rate. Each day I copy more words and then a few days later I say them on my own in conversation or in answer to a question from Mommy or Daddy. Mostly it has been to Mommy lately because Daddy has been very busy. I miss him a lot and I tell him often. Many times a day I scream for "MY DA DA "or my "MA MA DA DA". It is very funny to listen to me yell for him (Mommy laughs at me). Most of the time he can't hear me because he is out visiting or at church doing a funeral. My favorite new toy has to be the popper that Daddy got for me while Mommy and I were in Michigan for a long weekend. I push the popper all over the house or I bang it on the floor. I think Mommy gets tired of it at times, but so far she has never taken it away from me. THANKS MOMMY!

This afternoon Mommy and I went to the park for some play time. I slide down the slide so fast the first time I fell on my butt. The second time I was ready and I slide quickly put my feet out and went running off the slide. Mommy was amazed. Then I walked on this balance beam that bounces up and down all by myself. Then I jumped off the end and fell. I told Mommy, "fall down". On Sunday, I didn't feel well I would point to my throat and say ouch to Mommy. In the afternoon, I said "uh oh my shoe fall off" to Daddy.

Hi my name is PARKER

Yesterday, I finally gave in to my parents relentless attempts to get me to say my own name. I only said it twice and then went back to my new favorite word "MOON". My grandma Sara showed me the moon when I was with her last weekend and I loved finding it high in the sky. On our way to Beaver Dam yesterday, I was saying moon over and over and Mommy and Daddy were telling I could find it later at night. I didn't give up and finally Mommy asked me where I saw it and I pointed right to it. I am so much smarter than they give me credit. I can find a dog or cat when they can't and I know all the spots where the cows hide in the field and only I can see them. I have eagle eyes and super sonic hearing Mommy thinks.

Today, I played really well on my own and I even read a few books while Mommy made four spinach and zucchini lasagnas. Mommy caught me reading and she sat down then I read to her and she read to me for a long time. I even tried to help her wash the kitchen floor.

Playing in the leaves

Like my new winter hat, my Great Aunt Ruth bought me.
Last night I went to Great Aunt Ruth's for a great supper. We has an awesome veggie lasagna, Mommy said that she is going to make some when we get back to WI. After we had made the lasagna and put into the oven and went for a very long walk by the Grand River, we even found a park that I got to get out and play at. Then is was time to head back for supper. I wasn't so interested in eating at that time, so Ruth gave me she wooden spoons and spatulas and I brought the biggest one over to Mommy and so she put my food on the my big spatula and then I ate my dinner. After supper more relatives came to visit, Great Uncle Bob and Great Aunt Marj, Chuck and Krista, with the twins they watch. I had a lot of fun playing with the twins in the hallway, they were trying to teach me gymnastics, I just liked running and hitting the wall with my hands.
Today, we played at Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara's house all day. I got to see both Great Grandma's again today. I would not fall asleep for my nap, I talked and yelled for over and hour, but Mommy made me stay in the room and I finally fell asleep. I needed a good nap because I did not sleep good last night, by teeth were bothering me so I slept with Mommy and later Grandpa Buck came and got me from Mommy and I slept with him and Grandma Sara.

I am looking forward to seeing so many of my good buddies from Holland tomorrow.

Here in MI to celebrate 19 months

The pictures are from Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara's trip to WI last weekend.
I am here in MI, to visit old friends and see family. Just last weekend all my Grandparents were in Waupun to help us celebrate Daddy being installed into our church. On Thursday, Mommy and I drove with Kristi and her three kids to MI, they were going to see their Grandpa and Grandma too. All four of us kids did a great job in car. I was very excited when I got to Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara's house. I ran right into the room where the toys are kept and then I went to find Grandma Sara's exercise ball. I remember where everything was, I think Mommy was surprised by that. Before supper Grandma Sara, Mommy, and I walked around the block in the rain looking for puddles to jump in. Even while we were driving, I kept reminding Mommy that I wanted to go outside. We had pizza for supper and then Grandpa and I played tickle monster for a while.
This morning when I got up Grandpa came to get me and we let Mommy sleep in for a while, then we went and woke her up. That was really fun, I hit her door open and ran to the bed yelling "mommy, mommy". I think she kind of liked it. After breakfast we went to visit Great Grandma Buchholz in her new place. She has a very nice room, she even let me play with her balloon, I showed her how well I can kick. After hanging out there for a while, we then went back to her mobile home in Culterville to look at different things she thought we might like to have. Mommy and Grandpa got stuff and I played with her different music boxes. She allowed me to play her piano any way I wanted that was so cool. I even ran around outside with Grandpa Buck, you know how I love being outside.

After being at Great Grandma's we drove back to Grandpa Buck's house for lunch, I had a grilled cheese with ham on it and I almost at a whole sandwich, I was very hungry. Then we drove over to Grandma Sara's work so she could show me off to all her friends. I did a wonderful job of performing all of my tricks.

Here is just two quick stories of how I am always learning new things and showing off for Mommy and Daddy. On Wednesday, we were all sitting down for lunch and I kept saying "hi, hi, hi" over and over, finally Mommy asked "how are you" and I said "good". I think I shocked them because they just kept looking at each other. Then Daddy thought he would try so he asked me "how are you doing" I shrugged my shoulders and said "fine". Then Mommy and Daddy started laughing and telling me how smart I am. I already know that. Parents can be so silly sometimes.

I haven't told you the best part of last weekend was learning that my Uncle Chris is coming home for a visit at CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!!!
