Visiting MI

Mommy and I got an e-mail from Grandma Sara on Tuesday morning saying she was worried about a storm that was coming later in the week and we should leave that morning. So Mommy talked it over with Daddy and they thought it was a good idea. So after Mommy's cooking group meeting and VBS meeting we got in the car. Mommy stopped off at McDonald's to and got me a hamburger and apples. I was one happy little dude, sitting in the back seat, eating my food and with my sunglasses on. I kept telling Mommy "thank you". We had good weather and the traffic was light so we made excellent time. I couldn't wait to get to Buck's house and play with the toys and most of all Buck and Grandma. I have had trouble sleeping at night, but my Mommy is so loving that she puts up with me even if that means being up for three hours straight because I am having bad dreams.
On Wednesday we went to visit Grandma Sara at work and she took us on a tour of the Middle School and her friend Jan should me a school bus. I got to sit on the seat and run down the aisle of the bus.
Thursday I woke up early and played with Buck while Mommy slept in because she was up so long with me the night before. Then I got dressed in my Calvin gear and we head to Calvin to see the new Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex . All I can say is wow! I got to see kids climbing the rock wall, run on the new indoor track, saw the pool, and the huge new arena. I wanted to do everything I saw. I got to say hi to some of Grandpa's soccer players. I took a nice long nap in the afternoon. When Grandma got home we had supper and then went up to Grandma Ruth's house to swim in her pool. It was very cold outside, but the pool was warm. I swam with both Mommy and Buck. After swimming for a while I got cold so we changed and headed up to Ruth's. Ruth gave a cookie and a chocolate ice cream cone. YUMMY!!!!!! After playing for a while I walked over to Mommy and said "tired go to sleep".

This morning Mommy and I got up and headed into Holland to visit with Auntie and Em, Sara and David. We played at their house. I had tons of fun playing with Sara's kitchen and making David laugh. I stayed at Em's while Mommy went to our old house and cleaned it up. When she got back we all went out for lunch to 8th Street Grille. Sara and I had Mac and Cheese. We ate and talked, while our Mommy's ate and talked. It was the best morning. I think Mommy had a lot of fun. We sure miss playing and seeing them.

Tonight I am going to watch a movie of my Great Uncle Ken and play with some of Mommy's Aunt's and Uncle's.
