A Long Week

This week Daddy has been away and I have not been happy about it. My naps have been very short and I am not sleeping at night. On Monday, Mommy and I went to Beaver Dam to go shopping. When we got back to Waupun to had just enough time to get ready to go to the waterfall park and had a picnic lunch with our friends. After lunch and playing at the park we walked home and I took a very short nap. In the afternoon we played outside. That night when Mommy put me to bed she went back down stairs and got a drink. All of sudden she heard a noise and it was me. I climbed out of my crib for the first time and then walked down the steps. Mommy brought me right back upstairs and I showed her how I could climb out and climb right back in. That started a huge battle of wills Mommy wouldn't let me back in the crib and I didn't want to stay in the my airplane bed on the floor. I kept coming down and Mommy would bring we right back we did this for three hours until I finally gave in and fell asleep in Mommy's bed.

Tuesday, we had kids here to paint for the backdrop for VBS. I like playing with them. Mommy had to go and work at the thrift store. Marla came and took me to Mc Donalds, I got a Happy Meal and I was able to play in the play area. I had fun, but when I got home I gave Mommy a run for her money again with nap time. It took me a long time to go to bed and then she woke me up before I wanted. I did not want to talk with Daddy when he called that day because I was still mad that he had gone away.
Wednesday and Thursday were still rough days for both Mommy and I. This morning I woke up with allergies, a cold, or my final two teeth coming in. This morning I made Father's Day and Grandfather's Day cards. When I got tired of making cards and I went and got my Lighting Mac Queen car and Mater. I climbed right back up the stool played with them. Telling Mommy all kinds of stories and then asking for more cars. I played like that for an hour. Then we went and brought a whole bunch of VBS stuff to church. I took a good nap today and while I was sleeping Mommy worked hard on painting my new bed.

Tonight we went and watched the softball team that Daddy plays on. I got to see my friends and Mommy got to talk with some adults. The best part of the day was after the game I got to talk with Daddy on the phone! I can't wait for Saturday when Daddy comes home.

Missing Daddy

Yesterday, Daddy left for a week with the youth group. I can't quite figure out where Daddy is or why he is gone. Mommy played in a softball tournament this weekend. It was a tournament to raise money for the athletic club at CWCS. She has not played in five years. They won 2 games and lost 2 games. Mommy is a little sore from diving for so many balls. She was playing in a game and I was napping when Daddy left for Cedar Rapids, IA. After Mommy got home we played here for a while and then we went over to some friends house for a picnic. I played outside with their boys and we had supper at the picnic table right by their pool. I had my second hot dog, grapes, and chips it was so great.
After supper I learned how to shoot a water gun. I got Mommy all wet. When we got home Daddy called and I asked him where he was. At first I thought maybe he was with Uncle Chris but he said no. Then I asked if he was at the farm with Grace and Joe, but said no again. I just can't figure out where he is because he is not with family.

I miss Daddy but I know that when he gets home we are going on our camping vacation with Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara YEAH!!!!

WHY?

"Why" is my new favorite word. I use it at least 20 times an hour. Mommy and Daddy answer my questions and explain things I like all the new information I am learning. I love playing outside and having picnics outside. I just wish that Mommy would let me take my naps outside. Then life would be perfect.
I love to pretend that I am a puppy dog. I go around on my hands and knees panting like a puppy. I will also lick you leg, hand, or face if I can. The best part of being a puppy dog is that Mommy will give my a rub down and sometimes she pretends to be a puppy as well. My cars are still a favorite toy I love to drive my cars and trucks to Pizza Ranch. I have several Pizza Ranch stations set up around the living room and porch area.

We have ripped a bunch of shrubs from around the house and planted new flowers. I have the job of watering the flowers and I do a great job of it. I may over water a little but sure is fun when I get a 5 gallon bucket of water and my little watering can.

Quotes:

"Mommy Sexy" meaning "Mommy, see Lexi"

"Parker made a goal! Parker made a goal again, get closer"

"Mommy Parker being naughty? So fun"

"NO, Mommy No"
"Mac going to Pizza Ranch"
"Parker pretending to be puppy lick you"
"Mommy Parker want a beard, want a chocolate beard" meaning he wants to lick a beater

"Hi cow, I Parker, name"
"No, go to store, store out of milk oh bummer"

Indoor Picnic

Tonight, we are having an indoor picnic. It has been a long rainy day. I have been sad and complaining all day and I think Mommy is worn out from it. She is trying hard to find ways to make me happy and eat my food. So tonight she thought up an indoor picnic. She laid our camping table cloth on the floor in the living room and then put my chair and stool on it. She made a favorite of mine letter spaghetti with applesauce, chips, a bun, and fizzy water. Then she even put on my new favorite movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I am happy to say it worked like a charm. I am eating and watching.
This morning Mommy and I danced, ran around the house, played a millions of different things. I moved my tool bench into the living room all by myself. I wanted to rearrange all of my toys. Mommy wasn't so hip to that idea. After my nap we played in the basement for a while because it was so wet outside. I rode my tricycle in the basement. I am close to figuring out how to work the peddles.

I love my new white car from Great Grandma B along with old train that Mommy used to play with.

Memorial Day Parade

Hi, I'm back. I had to let Mommy post the last blog, but now I am back on the job. This past weekend Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara came up for a visit. Mommy and Daddy had lots of things go to like graduations and graduation parties so I stayed home and party with my grandparents. We had a blast playing inside with my train set. Outside we played soccer, hoops, and walked to the waterfall park. I showed off my driving skills on both my fire truck and my little coop car. I watched the Red Wings with Grandpa on Sunday afternoon, I cheered and shook my booty each time the scored.
Worker man with my hard hat, Lighting Mc Queen hat and my sunglasses.

Being silly with Grandpa Buck. I have a soccer ball hat on my head.

Walking in the parade with Mommy and Grandpa Buck. Grandpa Buck is getting me a snack of Smarties.

Today, I got to be in the parade with the whole family. Grandpa pushed me in my stroller while Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma passed out fliers for our churches VBS program this summer. I got to meet a crocodile. I also threw candy to the kids who were watching the parade. It was a lot of fun. Now we are getting ready to head out to another graduation party. Daddy says "yummy food".

Crack an Egg on the Couch and stir it all around!

Yesterday morning, while I was making a phone call about our health insurance, Parker managed to get the fridge door open. He took out an egg and placed in on a little plate of his. He brought he egg to the couch and cracked it on the couch. Then he proceed to stir it all over the cushions. When I got off the phone a few minutes later, I found him in the kitchen wiping off his sticky fingers. I asked him "Why are your fingers sticky?" "Mommy, Parker got egg on the couch." I thought he was pretending until I walked over and saw raw egg all over the couch. He started laughing I brought him upstairs for time out in his crib while I tried to calm down and clean up the raw egg. The couch has a huge stain that I can't get out.
I went up to get him and have talk about why we need to ask Mommy and Daddy if we need something from the fridge. He then asked to play with his Play Doh. I got it all out and the then threw it all around the kitchen that I had just finished cleaning. I took the Play Doh away and got out his colors. Then while I was writing about the egg incident on facebook Parker got his green marker and drew all over the counter and himself. ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

I guess I have a TWO YEAR OLD! Here he is being a little sweet heart.

He was very excited when he woke up from his nap because Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara were so close to being at our house. He stayed up late playing with them.

Washing the Car

Yesterday, it was really warm here so Mommy and I got the cars out of the garage and washed them together. It was a lot fun. While Mommy turned the water on I grabbed the hose and unfortunately I had the nozzle turned the wrong way. I pushed down and got a face full of water and I didn't know how to turn it off. I cried and cried, while Mommy laughed and tried to comfort me. After we finished the washing the big and little cars, I got to wash my two little cars.
Earlier in the day, a friend of ours came over and ripped a lot of bushes out. The bushes were in the front of the house and Mommy didn't like them very much. Now she is having a great time picking out new plants and trying to figure out what to put in the space.

This morning we cleaned in the basement and Mommy and I organized all of your camping stuff. We can't wait for camping with Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara in a few weeks. Grandpa Buck and Grandma Sara are coming up this weekend for a visit. I am very excited. Grandpa and I are going to play hoops and soccer together.

Now for a few of my new sayings:
"Holy Buckets"
yesterday I told the lady at the bank that my name was "Parker little boy wackadoddle"
a few weeks ago a lady sneezed at the store and I said " Bless you lady" she was very surprised
"Mommy Parker growed up."
"Parker ring the bell at Pizza Ranch"
"Mommy, Daddy go out for lunch to Pizza Ranch please?"
"Needy my hat because it is so windy outside brrr"
